KUTTA MULLA GORINNA

SPECIAL ASSISTANCE SCHOOL

Knowledge. Culture. Respect.

WHO ARE WE?

Kutta Mulla Gorinna is traditional ‘Yuwi’ language which means Head, Hands and Bring (Head and Hands we bring). We provide secondary schooling opportunities to those young people who are disengaged and alienated from the conventional school system.

Our school places emphasis on understanding the essential features of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture, including our special connection on the land and sea and our commitment to family and community, especially as it pertains to the lives of our students. At the same time Kutta Mulla Gorinna School will welcome all students disengaged from schooling irrespective of their cultural background.

EXPERIENCED STAFF

We pride ourselves on the commitment of our growing and dedicated team, whose expertise and passion are crucial in preserving our cultural heritage and fostering academic excellence.

OUR MISSION

Our unwavering focus every day is to support daily attendance, improvements in performance, student growth and outcomes for all students in a flexible learning environment.

OUR VISION

KMG continues to make a difference in young lives.  We work towards creating a safe environment in which every student is understood, is engaged and is successful in learning.   Our students will transition into a life of choice rather than a life of chance.

Kutta Mulla Gorinna Inc acknowledges the traditional custodians of country and acknowledges their continuing connection to land, waters and community. We pay our respects to the people, the culture and the elders past, present and emerging.
